In the spotlight

Khosrov Manukyan was born in 1969 in Yerevan, Armenia.

In 1988, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky music school, and in 1992-from the Yerevan Conservatory, faculty of piano.

In 1992-1995, Khosrov Manukyan continued his studies in Germany, where he majored in sound engineering and acquired the skills of an arranger.

Since 1997, Khosrov Manukyan has been living in Moscow. Over the years, he has created many arrangements, including an Album for DUDUK. Working on the arrangements revealed a great love for the ancient instrument. The first performance of Khosrov Manukyan took place in 2012. He felt in love with the DUDUK and learned to play the instrument on his own. Soon he began performing in Russia and other countries of the world - Greece, Israel, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, etc.

In Sochi, at the Gazprom-Media festival "Fakel", he performed with the famous trumpeter Semyon Milstein (at the end of the festival) and received the Judy award. Repeatedly performed with the legendary Jivan Gasparyan. He has been performing at the annual apricot festival for 2 years.

Since 2015, he has given concerts for the BelCanto charity Foundation.

Khosrov Manukyan was twice declared the winner of international festivals.

In addition to performing classical melodies, Khosrov experimented a lot and tried himself in different styles of beautiful and unique music for both piano and DUDUK. His deep feelings for the instrument were determined by his own perception of the melody played by the amazing DUDUK.
 
Manukyan's repertoire includes not only Armenian folk music, but also Western European classics.
