In the spotlight

The band was created in 1988, the name of the band was "Dozhnytsia". Its participants were and still are - teachers of Chervonenska Secondary School of I-III grades.

For popularization of the best samples of the Ukrainian vocal and ensemble art and high performing skill, in 1995 the ensemble was awarded the title "Folk amateur collective".

The ensemble's repertoire includes more than 30 works. The vast majority are arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs and vocal works by contemporary Ukrainian composers.

The band conducts active concert activities, participates in community, district and regional cultural and artistic events, concerts in Zhytomyr region, Kyiv, Kyiv region. Vocal ensemble "Dozhnytsia" is a multiple diploma winner of the district review - folk art competition. He is a laureate of the regional festival - folk art competition, multiple participant of the regional festival "Lesyni Dzherela" and participant of creative reports of amateurs of Zhytomyr region, Winner of the all-Ukrainian competition "Vyzhgorodska Pokrova" (diploma of the II degree).
