In the spotlight
In October 2000 the Compañía de danza folklorica Tierra Mestiza emerged, as an independent group under the leadership of the current Director Carolina Ordaz Ortiz, having several years of artistic experience with the passage of time, a consolidated group of dancers is also added.
Throughout these years of hard work Tierra Mestiza, results in a rich, varied and profound interpretation of the Mexican artistic expression, the combination of religious myths and scenes of everyday life, love and tragedy, are transmitted by an excellent choreography and movement to achieve a complete identification with initial desires of those who forged traditions and customs of our country in dance shows.
Dances and rhythms that represent every corner of our country, we present a work based on our roots, which preserve the originality of their costumes, music, tap and choreographic movements, so Tierra Mestiza includes the most representative dances and rhythms of Mexico.
