Piotr Nikiforoff and Yulia Goncharenko

In the spotlight

Yulia Goncharenko was born in 1968 in Moscow.

Graduated from Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins, where she was studying piano under Irina Naumova, Yuriy Ponizovkin and chamber music under Alexander Block and Alexander Bakhchiev.

Diploma winner in the international competition of chamber music named after Shostakovich in Moscow, laureate of the international competition in Pamplona.

Piotr Nikifiroff was born in Moscow.

Graduated from: Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins; conservatory of Lugano, where he studied under Carlo Chiarappa and Massimo Quarta. Also, he studied conducting in Florece under Pierro Bellugi and later under Jorma Panula, Alexander Polischuk in Saint-Petersburg.

Laureate of the national Zurich competition «Lira» and of the competition in Bern.

Solo concertmaster in the European orchestras: Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Charlemagne – Orchestra for Europe, Orchestra of Bruxelles.

Tne musicians toured in America, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea Russia, in Switzerland, France, Spane and in other European counties. They used to play together since 2003.
